close conjunction with the Kwang Hwa Petroleum Company, a Chinese concern, active in the development of the import and sale of petroleum products in this market. A large import trade in Russian Kerosene has already been built up and attempts are now being made to expand trade in benzine (gasolene or motor spirit) and in fuel

The extent to which Russian petroleum imports will increase must depend on the success of their British and American competitors' efforts to prevent an expansion of their trade. The activities of the Kwang Hwa Petroleum Company have previously been reported.
